There’s no denying that artisanal, hand-crafted pizzas are trending. We are proud to say that one of our partner restaurants, &pizza, is nailing the concept. They pride themselves on locally sourced, fresh produce, organic dough, and totally MSG-free products. Plus, their beautiful branding keeps customers coming back for more.
&pizza is also raking in the awards. They were recently named Most Popular Pizza Chain in DC by Business Insider– and that’s no small feat. One of the things that sets &pizza apart from the crowd is their unique assembly line design that allows you to build your own personalized pizza. We’re personally eyeing their “Gnarlic” pizza, made of garlic ricotta, mozzarella, grilled onion, pesto, garlic sauce, and parmesan cheese.

Our mouths are watering over the amazing Mediterranean fare being served at CAVA Grill. With the closest location in our neighboring state of Connecticut, we cannot wait to try their beautifully hand crafted salads, grain bowls, and pita. The vibrant colors and contrasting flavors of their ingredients make for a truly feel-good food experience for their customers.
They are famous for their unique variety of small-batch dips and spreads which are currently being sold in select Whole Foods. Their “Crazy Feta” spread looks out of this world, made of imported Greek feta, virgin olive oil, jalapeno, and onion.
There are so many new and exciting ‘better-burger’ joints these days and Hopdoddy Burger Bar is definitely one that’s on our radar. Based in Austin, Texas, Hopdoddy is killing the gourmet burger game. They carefully handcraft each burger with only the freshest ingredients, making sure to give each customer the best possible product. They bake their own bread, ground their own meat, and center themselves around the importance of the community, the local economy, and the environment.
We should also mention that they’re serving up local craft brews to go along with your meal. We can’t wait to try “El Diablo” on our next trip to Nashville!
This taco-centered fast casual concept is one we can’t stop thinking about. With authentic recipes and your choice between burritos, tostada bowls, tortas, taquitos, flautas, salads, and (duh) tacos, we wonder why anyone ever leaves this place. Chronic Taco’s founder Randall Wyner stepped up to the plate and decided to give everyone what they’d been asking for with the concept– a quick service taco restaurant.
Their carne asada tacos are calling out to us. How could you go wrong with diced steak marinated for at least 24 hours? We might have to make a day trip down to North Carolina just so we can see this place for ourselves!
